"The Mystery of the Headless Horseman" kicked off the 2011 season of the IDS Laurel Brook Productions. Performed by the third grade, under the direction of teachers Jennifer Bergin and JoAnn Rider, the play is an adaptation of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Washington Irving. The story, which takes place in Tarrytown, N.Y., complimented their study of U.S. geography and early colonial days, as well as the mystery of Halloween.
