Coyotes Have Great Showing at State Championship

The Independent Day School Middle School Cross Country team enjoyed numerous impressive performances at the 28th Connecticut Middle School State Cross Country Championships on Saturday, November 6, at Wickham Park in Manchester.

The Coyotes competed in three different races. Finishing with the highest placing was Sarah Roberts ‘22 who came in 17th out of 371 runners for her race. Great job, Sarah!

Following Roberts in a separate race of 240 runners were Ginger Graham ‘24 (19th), Marilyn Jones ‘24 (38th), Kaileen Levesque ‘24 (63rd), Danica De Dios ‘23 (127th), and Tessa Phillips ‘23 (175th).

On the boys’ side, Luke Diana ‘22 placed 41st, Will Covey ‘24 finished 42nd, and Will Diana ‘22 placed 45th out of 228 runners.
