Student Support Services

IDS is committed to supporting students in all aspects of their school experience. The IDS Learning Center supports the academic growth of students by helping classroom teachers assess the academic needs of students who may need extra support or accommodations in order to thrive. In addition Learning Center support staff may work with an individual or small groups of students to provide additional academic support for an additional fee.  All Kindergarten and new first and second-grade students are also screened by a speech pathologist who is then available to work with students during the school day for an additional fee at the request of parents. The IDS teachers are supported in their work by a consulting clinical social worker and a school nurse.
