Fearless Summer Day Camp

At IDS, fearless learning doesn’t stop when the final school bell rings. Join us for six weeks of fun, friendship, and discovery at our Fearless Summer Day Camp! Designed for children of all ages, starting at age 3, our program offers two engaging tracks tailored to different stages of growth and exploration.

Junior Explorers

Ages 3–6

Junior Explorers welcomes children ages 3–6 to a nurturing environment filled with opportunities to explore, create, and play. Each day features hands-on sensory experiences, imaginative stories, engaging games, and activities that strengthen fine motor skills and more. Through cooperative play and joyful discovery, our youngest campers build confidence, curiosity, and a lasting love of learning.

Summer Academy

Ages 7–13

Campers begin each day with a morning session inspired by our four Centers of Excellence: Environmental Literacy, Creative Studies, Innovation & Design Thinking, and Global Citizenship. Within these centers, students can dive deeply into focused interests or explore a variety of dynamic, interdisciplinary offerings. Afternoon activities, led by our Camp Director and staff, engage campers in games, adventures, and hands-on experiences that foster teamwork, creativity, and fearless fun.

Counselor in Training Program

“Where Tomorrow’s Leaders Thrive Today”

The camp environment provides a unique opportunity for youth to build leadership skills, particularly when interacting and supporting younger children. The objective of the program is to teach the general skills of leadership that can then be applied at school, home, and throughout the community.

The CIT program is separated into three 2-week-long programs during the 6-week Fearless Summer Day Camp program, which runs Monday through Friday. CIT’s will be expected to work from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 pm each day.

Our CIT Program is open to teens who:

  • Are rising 9th or 10th graders 
  • Enjoy working with others and being active all day long
  • Want to make meaningful connections and lifetime memories
  • Are looking to develop leadership skills
  • Want to build confidence
  • Strive to be a positive role model

how to apply

$200 per session (2 Weeks)

Students interested in the CIT program must fill out this application and be interviewed by the Camp Director. Applicants will be notified of acceptance by June 1. Payment is due in full at the time of registration. CIT fees are non-refundable and a credit will only be issued if and when a waitlist is formed. Registration must be made in advance, as we allow a maximum of 5 CITs per session, and spots fill quickly.
